Part 2: Wednesday 21st February 2018, 10am-12noon, Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan.
Resilience is something everyone would like to have but we often feel like it’s missing from our lives or it’s not achievable. We look at others and marvel at their ability to bounce back from challenges. We wonder how they can do this and we often feel that we don’t have the same ability to withstand personal or work crises.
However, you already have everything you need to develop and enhance your resilience. The aim of this 2-part workshop is to help you identify your own hidden strengths so that you can harness them, bounce back from challenges stronger than before and be less afraid of life’s twists and turns.
The 1st workshop will help you to delve into what resilience is, why it looks different for everyone, and how your life would be different if you felt confident in your ability to handle unexpected challenges. We will look at the cornerstones that are essential for all our lives. You will come away with a new understanding of the ways your body works and you will be invited to observe yourself before the 2nd workshop, as you go about your daily life to notice what you are doing to enhance your resilience already, and what areas could be worked on.
In the 2nd workshop we will do some time travel, visit the zoo (metaphorically) and retrain our brains. Lisa will give you lots of practical tips that you can put into action straight away and that will really boost your inner strength. You will be up out of your chairs (nothing too strenuous!). We will practise the techniques together and then you can teach others in your family when you go home.
Both workshops will include exercises and coaching tools that can be completed during the workshops or at home.
The cost for both workshops is €60 and pre-booking is essential.
